Project Planner
Role Objective:
The purpose of this position is to develop and manage efficient project schedules that meet customer requirements and support the smooth execution of work.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain project schedules based on previous experience, construction methods, and customer master schedules, while taking into account dependencies and constraints.
* Collaborate with project teams by providing support, guidance, and coordination to ensure successful execution.
* Develop tools, processes, and working methods to streamline scheduling and improve efficiency.
* Gather feedback and insights from project teams to drive continuous improvement in planning practices.
* Actively contribute to lessons learned activities, identifying successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Relevant education and proven experience in construction project planning; knowledge of shipbuilding is considered an advantage.
* Proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or equivalent.
* Ability to quickly understand new concepts and adapt to changing project requirements.
* Technical knowledge beneficial for identifying project complexities and risks.
* Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail to ensure precise scheduling and resource allocation.
* Ability to prepare reports and analyses based on collected data.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
* Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
