Purpose
Implement global supply planning strategies in line with corporate objectives horizontally for all Business Units. Be the Planning partner of choice, responsible for translating Brand ambitions into tactical requirements. Provide actionable insights, while establishing and maintaining a Global Planning framework that can be leveraged across all BUs.
Key Accountabilities
* Generate creation zone IBP drumbeat for GOPS, own the number to support capability & capacity building for supply base for BUs represented on site, identify volume gaps and potential risks in supply with the ultimate goal of ensuring demand plans of the markets can be satisfied in the sell & produce zone
* Assist Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) for all creation centres globally in terms of availability, level loading and game plan creation and support seasonal allocation process through reporting
* Manage CPR process & tools including derived action plans across functions and manage CPR meetings for horizontal concepts, key technologies and franchises across BUs - arbitrate when necessary to optimize capacity/ capability utilization and support maximum availability performance once production starts
* Operate within global planning framework (Processes, policies, calendars) while supporting BU specific needs through differentiated services (e.g. exceptional planning processes for collaborations, events)
* Manage seasonal set up and maintenance of planning parameters and master data
* Be the key contact for planning systems related matters including specifications, training, and testing
* Collaborate and align effectively with BU Planning community, globally, to ensure broad adoption of policies, procedures, and timelines across locations
Knowledge Skills and Capabilities
* Service-minded and consumer/customer oriented in all day job matters
* Strong analytical & problem solving skills and personal presence, with proven ability to interact, influence and convince at management level
* Experience with (Supply Chain Planning and Execution) software applications
* Lean Six Sigma (or equivalent project mgmt. approach)
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (mainly accustomed to MS Excel & MS Access)
* Fluent in English
Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree or equivalent in supply chain management or in the areas of business administration, logistics, planning, information systems from an accredited college or university
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, operations or planning, preferably in the Accessories, Apparel or Footwear industries
