Job Description
As a Warehouse Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This includes managing and coordinating activities of team leaders and front-line warehouse staff in processing shipments, inventory, purchase orders, sales orders, and all other business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and directing daily warehouse operations to meet customer requirements;
* Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols;
* Coordinating workforce planning, training division of tasks among shopfloor employees & employee coordination;
* Directing complete shifts organization with FTE & Temp employees while ensuring compliance regarding storage distribution goods according regulations;
* Developing processes optimize existing ones increase productivity/safety/health metrics through continuous improvement initiatives like 5S/Safety/Kaizen programs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience as leader role knowledge logistics warehousing management potential direct subordinates especially temporary force
- Strong sense urgency independent drive get things done;
- Team player coach mindset pro-active approach work;
- Proficiency German English language (written verbal);
- Familiarity computer skills WMS MS Office Excel PowerPoint Word etc. ability learn new systems quickly.,html
