Responsibilities
1. Scope: Full responsibility for all accounting for Business Line Marl / Wesseling, including subsidiaries.
2. Accounting / Financial Statements: Ensure proper accounting, prepare, and analyze financial statements according to IFRS, HGB, and EnWG.
3. ICS: Implement and monitor internal control systems to ensure compliance and risk management.
4. Cooperation: Coordinate between accounting departments of Marl / Wesseling and Function Accounting, and collaborate with the tax department.
5. Contact Person: Main contact for internal/external stakeholders, such as auditors, and oversee the accounting team.
6. Accounting Issues: Provide targeted advice and structuring of accounting issues.
7. Process Optimization: Continuously optimize internal procedures and processes.
Requirements
1. Education: Degree in economics focusing on accounting, auditing, taxation, controlling, or similar. Passing the auditor exam is an advantage.
2. Professional Experience: Several years in a managerial role in accounting or auditing (preferably as an auditor).
3. Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of IFRS, HGB, EnWG, tax law, and financial IT tools (SAP finance modules, MS Office).
4. Languages: Excellent German and English, both written and spoken.
5. Personal Skills: Goal-oriented, cooperative, strong communication, able to work under pressure, flexible, hands-on mentality.
