Possible Tasks within this Role
* Conduct a thorough review of the latest scientific and technological developments in this field
* Perform material characterizations using advanced testing methods, such as tensile tests, bending tests, hardness measurements, and microscopy
* Analyze and interpret test data in close collaboration with experienced team members
* Assess the potential of innovative steel materials for use in automotive body structures
* Prepare clear, well-structured reports and deliver presentations in internal meetings
Qualification requirements
* Students of Materials Science, Surface Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
* Solid understanding of materials and material testing methods, ideally with a focus on steel
* Strong academic performance
* Precise and reliable working style as well as strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
* German and English language level B2
