On behalf of SIEMENS ENERGY, we are looking for a Commissioning Specialist HVDC Systems DC Protection (m/f/d) at the Forchheim location as soon as possible, full-time.
Your Responsibilities:
* Conducting integration tests and functional checks of HVDC control technology (C&P hardware and software) at the Siemens test center
* Performing and documenting Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT) of C&P hardware and software, including customer acceptance tests
* Technically flawless, timely, and economical execution of commissioning (IBS) of HVDC systems on site (worldwide)
* Supporting the commissioning management in quality, risk, and claim management
* Participation in improvement programs (including Lean, reviews, and lessons learned)
Your Profile:
* Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable qualification
* Professional experience in the field of electrical power supply and plant commissioning is an advantage
* Good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: project planning and testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC, protection systems/protection relays & BCU (DIGSI / Siprotec V4/5)
* Good knowledge or experience in HVDC systems in the fields of high-voltage technology, control, regulation, measurement, protection, and communication systems
* Knowledge of current and voltage transformers / other primary components as well as protection/control technology and other secondary systems
* Good German and English skills; additional language skills are very welcome
* Willingness to travel worldwide and for predominantly long-term assignments at construction sites in Germany and abroad, as well as optionally on offshore platforms
