With our AI-based optimization and trading software, we maximize the revenues of operators of large-scale energy storage and renewable assets on short-term electricity and balancing markets - while simultaneously minimizing their risks.

Who you'll work with:
* Trading & Tech Crew: Collaborate daily with a cross-functional team of quants, developers, and traders—everyone close to the action, no silos.
* Your lead: Juri
o Ex-Sunnic, Centrica, Vattenfall
o 10+ years' experience in power & battery trading
o Expert in short-term renewables optimization & algo trading
o RWTH Aachen grad, energy economics & mechanical engineering
* Quantitative Analysis: Use Python and other tools to analyze and optimize trading operations, and develop new strategies.
* Live Trading: Monitor markets, prices, and live trading results; react quickly to anomalies; improve our automated processes.
* Strategy Development: Develop and refine models, test new approaches, and collaborate closely with quants, data scientists, and developers.
* Risk Management: Spot risks early, think in scenarios, and ensure we're prepared for anything.
* At least 3 years' experience in power trading (CWE or UK), covering the full trade lifecycle.
* Analytical and strategic thinker – you leverage data, mathematics, and logic to develop new trading approaches and spot market opportunities.
* Experience optimizing processes, developing tools, and ideally trading renewables.
* Python or SQL skills are a plus – or you impress with hands-on trading experience.
* Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a bonus.
