We are seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to join our Infrastructure Business Area Project Office division in Ratingen.
The role involves working with clients to identify new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the data center sector and other industries where UPS systems are required across Europe.
Your tasks will include:
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities
* Promoting and selling Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems
* Providing technical guidance and expertise to clients
* Monitoring competitors and analyzing industry trends
* Submitting monthly sales reports to management and MELCO
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Experience selling UPS systems to the data center sector and other industries in Europe
* A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in B2B sales, preferably with a focus on technical solutions for data centers, electrical infrastructure, or similar sectors
* A technical background or certifications in UPS systems, power management, and/or energy solutions would be beneficial
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* A results-driven and proactive approach to identifying client needs
* The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
* Fluent English and a willingness to travel globally
