Salary : 60-70 K Euro
Your tasks:
Work alongside clients to establish engineering requirements and assess potential structural solutions.
Conduct early-stage and conceptual sizing calculations for aircraft components.
Perform stress and fatigue assessments to meet certification standards for airframe designs.
Use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software (Nastran) to perform simulations and extract internal loads.
Execute traditional hand calculations based on recognized industry methods (Bruhn, Niu, Roark, ESDU).
Draft, review, and validate technical stress documentation, including reports, engineering drawings, and deliverables.
Innovate and validate new stress analysis approaches.
Prepare reports for certification, outline test strategies, and validate design schematics.
Your profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a focus on Aeronautical, Mechanical or similar
At least 4 years of practical experience in structural stress analysis within the aerospace sector.
Experience in structural repair design
Proficiency in Nastran and Hyperworks
Good organizational skills
Fluent English
German would be a plus
