Junior Sous Chef

Duties & Responsibilities as a Junior Sous Chef

* Knowledge of seasonal produce & new products on the market and awareness of culinary trends
* Manage and support the team in line with business needs and guest expectations
* Ensure hygiene and sanitation guidelines are strictly adhered to, and that equipment and utensils are handled, maintained and used correctly
* Minimize waste to help ensure that the budget and sustainability measures are adhered to
* Mentor and coach colleagues to ensure maximum engagement and a smooth operation

About you

You are an experienced and motivated chef with strong leadership and organisational skills. You support the Head Chefs in managing kitchen operations, ensure high-quality food preparation, and help train and guide the team. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
