The Baden-Württemberg Municipal Pension Association (KVBW) is a public-law corporation whose areas of business include civil servant pensions, subsidies, municipal personnel services, and supplemental pensions. Its geographical area of operation covers the state of Baden-Württemberg. The association is headquartered in Karlsruhe with a second office in Stuttgart.
The following position is to be filled as soon as possible at our office in Karlsruhe in the Technology and Infrastructure Department:
IT System Administrator (m/f/d) Automation
up to Pay Grade A12 LBesO / Pay Grade 11 TVöD, Reference Number: T 656.26
Your main responsibilities:
* Planning, creation, customization, testing, and further development of job processing using Broadcom Automic (formerly UC4)
* Standard IT preparation and follow-up work: planning, control, and monitoring of job networks and complex IT processes
* Monitoring, independent analysis, and troubleshooting, as well as implementing adjustments and optimizations during application operations
* Creation and maintenance of scripts and tools related to operations
* Cross-system and cross-application assurance of production batch processes
What we expect from you:
* A completed relevant university degree (e.g., in computer science) or a completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system administration with several years of experience, or a comparable qualification or eligibility for higher civil service
* Several years of professional experience in the field of automation
* Knowledge and experience with the use of a job scheduling system such as Automic Workload Automation (UC4) are advantageous
* Relevant experience with PowerShell Script or JCL under z/OS
* Structured, independent, and responsible work style
* Strong teamwork skills and confidence in communicating with colleagues
