About This Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our AI-driven pricing and inventory optimization initiatives.
This role is ideal for an accomplished executive who understands the intricacies of AI, data-driven decision-making, and SaaS product development. As the head of product, you will oversee a team of product managers and designers, guiding them to enhance existing AI-powered solutions and develop new, innovative products.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and key stakeholders to establish best practices for AI product management, drive sustainable product development, and foster a culture of continuous discovery, iteration, and delivery. Your leadership will be critical in shaping the strategic direction, ensuring alignment across teams, and delivering AI-powered solutions that optimize pricing and inventory decisions for global customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Product Creation: Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring the creation of innovative solutions. Guide the evolution of AI-based demand forecasting and optimization models to deliver real business impact. Co-create the product vision and strategy to drive long-term success. Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate AI research into scalable SaaS solutions.
2. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and expand a team of product managers and designers. Build a strong AI product management function that balances experimentation with business impact. Foster cross-functional collaboration between product, data science, engineering, and business teams.
3. Product Process Establishment: Establish product management best practices for AI/ML development and promote a culture of continuous discovery and delivery. Incorporate user research, usability studies, and business insights into product requirements. Balance AI automation with user control to ensure customer trust and understanding.
4. Data-Driven Decision Making: Identify and monitor key product metrics related to AI model performance, product adoption, and business impact. Use data analysis to optimize product performance and support ongoing improvements.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote AI-powered decision-making. Incorporate feedback into product requirements and establish feedback loops for alignment. Work closely with technical leaders to ensure sustainable development and delivery. Educate teams and customers on AI capabilities and limitations in pricing and inventory optimization.
Qualifications
* Experience: 6+ years in product management, with 5+ years in people management, including hiring and mentoring. Proven success in delivering end-to-end products.
* Technical Skills: Experience building AI-powered applications; SaaS experience is a plus. Knowledge of pricing, supply chain, or inventory management software is advantageous.
* Skills & Knowledge: Expertise in structured product development processes, understanding of machine learning, analytics, and AI performance metrics. Ability to leverage data for decision-making and demonstrating product value.
* Leadership & Communication: Experience leading organizational change. Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.
* Strategy: Track record in developing and executing product strategies aligned with user needs and business goals.
