We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary Public Affairs professional for Key Markets who will be responsible for strategic stakeholder engagement and driving Sanofi's corporate affairs external agenda across key markets.
Main responsibilities
Executive Meeting Management
* Support preparation of ExCom bilateral meetings including briefing materials
* Coordinate with countries and ExCom offices on visit context and external stakeholder engagement
* Ensure seamless execution of high-level executive engagements
Country Support
* Play a critical role in supporting countries to leverage Sanofi's footprint in external engagement
* Facilitate knowledge sharing across markets
* Identify and promote best practices in public affairs
Strategic framework and tools Development
* Establish strategic frameworks and develop tools for external communication on corporate affairs topics in the key markets aligned the OneSanofi agenda and based on national priorities
* Develop comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategies in coordination with the policy department
Trade Association Coordination
* Monitor and follow up on Sanofi's contributions to national trade associations and relevant industry forums
* Support implementation of Sanofi's European agenda across key markets
Capability Building
* Advise on capability building requirements for the public affairs community
* Support skillset shaping for external-facing top leaders within key markets
About you
Education and Experience:
* Advanced degree in Public Affairs, Public Policy, International Relations, or related field
* A minimum of 7 years of experience in within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, consultancy or political field
Soft skills:
* Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships at various levels within the organization
* Strong communication skills, ability to understand and communicate complex information in clear, understandable ways for internal and external audiences
* Ability to influence stakeholders effectively
* Team spirit, sense of transversality, working with autonomy and strong customer focus
Technical skills:
* Significant experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare public affairs
* Proven track record in stakeholder management and executive support
* Strong understanding of healthcare systems and policy landscapes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strategic thinking and ability to navigate complex political environments
Languages: Very good communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal. Knowledge in French and/or German language would be a plus.
