BA Wind is responsible for the development, construction and operation of onshore and offshore wind, as well as solar and battery projects. We manage the full asset lifecycle – from design and construction to operation and continuous improvement – always with a strong focus on safety, availability and profitability. In this role, you will provide proactive Health & Safety support to international project teams during the pre‑construction and construction phases of our Onshore, Offshore and Solar & Batteries projects. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating structured safety activities, developing effective H&S solutions and ensuring clear communication across projects and within the H&S organisation. The Health & Safety specialist is responsible for the following main tasks: Provide ongoing support and advise to the project team to assist them in ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety statutory obligations and Vattenfall safety objectives, requirements and safety management system obligations. Contribute, support and where required lead in carrying out safety studies and risk assessment activities. Assist in the development of the Project Emergency Response Plan, including emergency preparedness analysis and be part of the project emergency response team. Plan and execute Audit/Inspections to ensure that all activities under the project scope are assured. Oversee incidents and safety observations and manage investigations and close-out of accidents/ incidents/ Non-conformities within asset projects including H&S reporting. Contribute to health and safety in the selection and procurement of supply chain partners. Promote continual improvement within the IS0 45001 framework and implement lessons learned. Promote a proactive Health and Safety Culture.
