Description de la mission
Under the supervision and leadership of the DACH Sales Manager (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), you will be responsible for supporting the commercial and project activity in Germany.
Supporting the order taking and sales of our ammunition products in Germany will be the main objectives of your duties. You will be responsible for liaising and coordinating technical-commercial actions with KNDS Germany but also with state and military authorities, principals, purchasing advisers, choice-makers, and decision-makers in local military ammunition procurement, for submitting the offers made and providing support for their negotiation, with the priority objective of obtaining secure and profitable contracts.
You will draw up and update monitoring dashboards and record your activity reports in the Customer Relationship Management tool.
As part of your work, you will be required to travel throughout Germany and you will also be responsible for providing support for delegation visits to the three munitions sites (France, Italy, and Belgium), as well as preparing defence trade fairs.
You will also be responsible, in coordination with the Export Approvals Manager, for supporting the obtaining of these approvals prior to any contractual negotiations.
As soon as product knowledge is mastered, you will contribute to the prospecting of new opportunities and you will be one of the principal representatives for KNDS Ammo in order to provide support, alongside the programme managers, for the coordination with KNDS Germany, whether with the teams in Munich or in Kassel.
The candidate will report to the manager in France for all strategic commercial, financial, and administrative decisions (export control, approval of bids, and signing of contracts).
Profil / Compétences requises
Completion of a master's degree with 4 to 10 years of commercial and/or project management experience in the defence sector.
Knowledge of land-based defence products and, if possible, munitions is required, as well as project management skills. Skills in international business negotiation and contracting is desirable.
Knowledge of Germany and France
Fluency in German, English, and French required.
