For Wrisk Europe GmbH, we are actively seeking a highly skilled Head of Insurance Product & Operations - Europe who possesses an extensive background in overseeing and managing a robust network of insurance capacity providers throughout Europe to develop and deliver Wrisk products that cater to specific market or client demands. This pivotal role demands a professional who can expertly navigate the motor insurance environment in Europe from an insurance product delivery, performance & portfolio management, operations, and provider perspective.
Moreover, the Head of Insurance Product & Operations - Europe will play a vital role in shaping the company's strategic direction. By providing product and insurer-driven insights and recommendations, you will influence key business decisions, contributing to the development and refinement of our solutions. This will require a blend of technical and operational expertise, strategic thinking, and a keen understanding of the insurance (intermediation) marketplace.
Furthermore, collaboration will be a significant aspect of this role. You will work closely with diverse teams, including key account management, product development, underwriting, risk management, operations and technology, ensuring a cohesive approach to product and insurance partner management.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, International Business, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in the insurance brokerage/ intermediation sector (focus: motor insurance) of a minimum of 4 years.
* Familiarity with actuarial principles, methods, and practices, particularly in relation to motor and P&C insurance.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
* Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
* A proactive stance towards learning and keeping abreast of the latest industry advancements.
* Persuasive skills in negotiating with insurers.
* Ability to build strong relationships with and to be therefore trusted by insurers
