The Opportunity
You’ve likely purchased or used products touched by Videojet Technologies this week. From freshness dating to track and trace coding, our printing and laser marking solutions help ensure food, beverages, pharmaceutical, and other products are authentic and safe.
Following an extensive onboarding immersion and transition period, the jobholder will lead the commercial teams in Germany, comprising approximately 50 associates (field sales, customer care, post-sales orders, technical sales, etc.). Reporting to the Senior Commercial Director – Central Europe, this is a hybrid position with at least 2 days a week in our Limberg office near Frankfurt and regular travel across Germany to meet customers.
The Commercial Lead will develop and execute transformative growth strategies that leverage Videojet’s strong business and technology foundation. You’ll deliver country revenue, cost, and profit targets, provide inspirational leadership, and maximize our “win as a team” spirit. You’ll also accelerate solutions sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, manage country working capital, and ensure accurate revenue and order forecasting.
In time, there is further scope to take on additional co-Managing Director Germany responsibilities.
The Ideal Candidate
* Progressive sales leadership and a proven track record of devising winning commercial strategies and driving growth in high-performance B2B organizations (P&L experience is an advantage)
* Inspirational leader focused on developing talent and building engaged teams
* Energetic, resilient, analytical, with excellent communication skills (fluent in German and English)
* Lives within a commutable distance of Limburg and willing to travel frequently across Germany
* An undergraduate degree is required; an MBA is preferred
