Tasks
Carrying out recovery, improvement and maturity missions at critical suppliers (especially for military) using best practice standards/tools (LoB, Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, PFMEA, CCP).
Ensuring that the supplier relationship is established/improved in a sustainable manner, including at the supplier management level
Holistic and sustainable development of suppliers from the development phase to the series and support phase
Structured reporting (score card/8D) to internal customers/stakeholders.
Carrying out assessments in accordance with Airbus Group standards: capacity (CCP/CMA), ramp-up readiness, maturity (Aero Excellence)
Independent crisis intervention and recovery missions at suppliers to ensure sustainable parts availability/delivery quality
Commissioning via SLA with clear recovery targets (OTD, OTQ, missing parts)
Defining action plans within the framework of SQIP (end-to-end process)
Support with relocations (various production sites, cross-border): risk analysis, action plan, tracking of actions
Training/coaching of supply chain actors with regard to APQP/quality core tools, assessments
Participation in the Aeroexcellence expert pool (SCE A Deutschland GmbH)
Profile
Degree in supply chain, aerospace or similar
At least 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or similar
Knowledge of project, supplier and crisis management
Experience in operations management (MRP, APICS/CPIM certification) and APQP
Experience in relocating work between production sites and/or to other countries, as well as support with capacity assessments
Very good leadership, communication and conflict management skills
Assertiveness and diplomacy
International experience and ability to work in a (transversal) team
Willingness to travel (approx. 60-80% of the work takes place at the supplier's premises)
Business fluent in English; fluent in German; French is an advantage
Knowledge of Industrial suitability and maturity tests is an advantage
Proficiency in IT solutions (e.g. SAP, Excel, etc.)
