Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
2. Conduct regular staff appraisals and one-on-one meetings in line with our company guidelines.
3. Support team members in setting clear goals and tracking development progress.
4. Oversee accurate classification for all shipments across all customers.
5. Monitor and manage duty deferment usage and thresholds.
6. Ensure smooth onboarding and transition of all new business accounts.
7. Collaborate with account management and sales teams to support commercial activities.
8. Partner with the Trade Compliance Manager to lead compliance training and awareness initiatives.
9. Support internal audit processes and act as a key liaison with customs authorities.
10. Manage and optimize customs systems and reporting tools.
11. Provide strategic insights for customer reviews.
12. Champion the implementation of new system changes and process enhancements.
