An innovative Quantum Computing start-up in Munich are looking to bolster their team with a dynamic Hardware Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Own critical electronic modules within the quantum computing platform, driving their design and performance.
* Ensure seamless system integration by optimizing modules to work reliably within the larger architecture.
* Transition to new challenges by taking on fresh projects once modules are successfully delivered and embedded.
* Collaborate across disciplines, partnering with quantum, mechanical, and software teams to develop end-to-end solutions.
* Stay at the forefront of physics and engineering, applying new insights to continuously enhance system performance.
Requirements:
* BSc or higher in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 5+ years of proven hardware delivery in industry or research.
* Hands-on design expertise across at least three domains—analog/RF, digital, and power electronics.
* Capable of independently specifying complex systems and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
* Track record of mentoring and supporting junior engineers in technical development.
* Practical experience in areas such as low-noise amplifiers, precision ADC/DAC, clock design, digital feedback loops (FPGA/microcontroller), power switching (MOSFET/IGBT), and switch-mode supplies.
