We are seeking a senior-level Cloud Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a strong background in AI/ML technologies to lead the technical design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, secure, and production-grade infrastructure. This role is ideal for experienced engineers who combine strategic product thinking with technical execution, and who thrive in fast-paced, regulated environments.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping cloud-native ecosystem, driving DevOps excellence, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver robust, automated, and compliant solutions that support the full lifecycle of AI/ML products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure infrastructure on GCP using services like GKE, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI, and more.
2. Drive infrastructure-as-code development with Terraform and implement automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and workflows.
3. Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure technical alignment and consistency across API platforms and AI/ML solutions.
4. Contribute hands-on to the development of APIs and microservices using Python or Java.
5. Apply design patterns and architecture principles to build reusable, resilient, and scalable systems.
6. Automate operational workflows, enhance observability, and support incident response and root cause analysis.
7. Develop and maintain reusable modules, templates, and tools to accelerate infrastructure and platform delivery.
8. Champion best practices for AI/ML infrastructure, including model training, deployment, monitoring, and governance using tools such as Vertex AI, Kubeflow, and MLflow.
Qualifications
9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10. 9+ years of experience in cloud engineering, product development, and DevOps roles.
11. Proven track record of designing and operating production systems on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
12. Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with a focus on automation and scripting.
13. Deep understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, and compliance in regulated environments.
14. Hands-on experience with AI/ML workflows and tools, including Vertex AI, MLflow, or similar services.
