As part of our System Integration & Testing Team, you will: Develop optical measurement technologies for calibration and performance characterization of innovative long-wave infrared (LWIR) sensors Design calibration methods for LWIR sensors under various stimuli and environmental conditions in a state-of-the-art lab environment Support the specification of series test technologies and transfer laboratory measurement solutions into high-volume manufacturing for real-world applications Characterize optical and optoelectronic components for infrared applications Qualifications Personality: you thrive in dynamic environments, embrace ambiguity, and approach challenges with an exploratory and solution-oriented attitude Working Style: you enjoy working in agile teams and take initiative in fast-paced consumer electronics setting Experience: hands‑on experience in optical metrology and operation of related equipment (e.g., lasers); first programming knowledge in Python, MATLAB, or C++, including data analysis Languages: fluent in English; German is a plus Education: bachelor’s degree in Physics, Microsystems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Photonics Engineering, or a related field Additional Information The Bosch PreMaster Program (Gap Year Program) is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree. After the Bachelor's degree, the first phase provides up to 12 months' practical experience for familiarisation with technical and business interrelationships.
