Manager Micro-Optics Technology (m/f/d)
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Technology Manager for Micro-Optics to lead the development, integration, and optimization of micro-optics solutions for Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) connectivity. This role requires a deep understanding of optics, photonics, and semiconductor packaging, with a focus on advancing technologies to enable high-performance optical interconnects in next-generation data centers and high-speed computing systems. Oversee system integration, performance optimization, and lifecycle management.
Represent the organization at industry events, contribute to technical publications, patents, and standards development.
Manage project planning, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Proven track record of managing technology development projects in optics or photonics.
Strong knowledge of photonic integration technologies, including silicon photonics, VCSELs, and fiber-optic communication systems.
Familiarity with semiconductor packaging, thermal management, and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with Co-Packaged Optics architecture and its applications in data centers and high-performance computing.
Experience working with suppliers, foundries, and testing laboratories for optical components.
