HOLOGATE is looking for a talented 3D Artist (f/m/d) to join our creative team. In this role, you will work across multiple stages of the 3D art pipeline—from modeling and texturing to integration into Unreal Engine—helping to create visually compelling and technically optimized assets for immersive entertainment experiences. Responsibilities
* Create high-quality 3D assets with a strong focus on modeling, texturing, and UV layouting
* Follow modern game art workflows, including high-poly to low-poly baking
* Ensure clean topology and optimized assets for real-time applications
* Implement and optimize 3D models within the Unreal Engine 5 pipeline
* Collaborate closely with artists, technical artists, and developers to ensure visual and technical consistency
* Maintain high artistic and technical quality standards across all assets
Key Qualifications
* At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable 3D art role
* Strong skills in 3D modeling and general art fundamentals
* Proficiency in Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max
* Solid experience with Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5
* Strong eye for aesthetics, composition, and detail, with the ability to develop own designs
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment
* Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
Desirables
* Experience with 3D animation
* Knowledge of rigging and skinning for characters
