Part of your DAY-TO-DAY WITH US Responsibility for general ledger accounting: You will be responsible for the general ledger accounting of our German company and ensure the correct recording of intercompany transactions between the parent company and the subsidiary. Coordination of financial statement preparation: You will actively coordinate and organise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, IFRS, and tax requirements. Preparation of accounting: You will play a central role in preparing and ensuring the proper recording of business transactions. Monitoring international processes: You will monitor and support international AR/AP transactions and contribute to optimising financial processes. Contact person for external stakeholders: You will act as contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and banks. Collaboration on projects: You will participate in projects to optimise processes and introduce a new accounting system. OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE Commercial training or degree in business administration, finance, accounting, taxation, or similar. Approx. 5 years of professional accounting or auditing experience. Confident with accounting software (DIAMANT or SAP a plus) and strong Excel skills. Friendly, precise, structured working style with strong numerical understanding. Quick learner, able to familiarise yourself with new responsibilities fast. Experience in corporate accounting and financial process digitisation is a plus. Professional level in German & English (mandatory) ; Spanish or French is a plus. You live in the Cologne area and enjoy working two days per week on-site.
