Mission
You play a key role in our mission to treat cancer patients.
As a service engineer in our site in Madrid, you are responsible for installation, calibration and commissioning activities on the Proton Therapy site, with a specific focus on the electromechanical equipment in the Treatment Room.
You work in a team of approximately 5 people, and you report to the Site Manager.
Challenges we trust you with
As an Electromechanical engineer, you are responsible for:
1. Maintaining and troubleshooting the equipment
2. Operating the system and providing technical support to the medical staff during patient treatment and clinical operations
3. Ensuring the client requirements are met in term of technical performance, timing and safety
4. Training customers
5. Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (shift work)
6. Upgrading and improving the system in collaboration with the R&D (Research and Development) department
What we value
You have:
7. A Master degree in engineering (Electronics, Electro-mechanics or Mechanics)
8. At least 2 years of relevant technical experience in electronics/electrical system troubleshooting, mechanical system design and repair, and operations of large systems, as well as experience with different tools like cooling systems, vacuum systems, PLC´s regulation loops Programmable Logic Controller), drivers, sensors, electric motors positioning equipment, high and low voltage equipment
9. The ability to troubleshoot large systems issues
10. The ability to work autonomously on well-defined tasks
11. Knowledge of local EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations

14. Able to follow rules & regulations and you able to deliver on strict deadlines
15. Conscientious and organized, able to provide good quality reporting
16. Analytical, able to identify root cause of issues

18. Willing to travel extensively during the training period (+/- 4 months)
19. A flexible person, willing to work in rotating shift work, night work and weekends (up to 50% of your time)
Compensation
“The total guaranteed annual compensation range (which includes annual base salary, as well as flexible budget if applicable) for this position is provided below:
Total gross guaranteed annual compensation range: 33900-51400 €
The salary range indicated above is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects the typical compensation scope for this position based on the role's level of responsibility, required expertise, and location. The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender-neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidate's profile. The role might also qualify for additional compensation elements such as variable pay, profit sharing, and benefits which are not reflected in this range.”
