What you can expect:
* Preparation of annual financial statements (German Commercial Code), consolidated financial statements (German Commercial Code), and monthly financial statements (accounts/month/year)
* Point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and tax auditors
* Coordination of the accounting department of the subsidiary in the USA
* Financial controlling for V-LINE GROUP, monthly financial reporting including target/actual comparisons
* Budgeting and forecasting processes for liquidity requirements
* Commission settlements and calculation of compensation payments (transfer prices)
* Financial reporting (including calculation of finance KPIs) and further standardization
* Development and expansion of the finance controlling systems and reporting for foreign subsidiaries
* Business analyses and special projects
* Optimization/digitalization of processes in the FINANCE department of V-LINE GROUP
What you bring to the table:
* Completed degree in business administration or economics, ideally with a focus on finance/controlling, or comparable qualifications
* Experience in auditing, tax consulting, or a commercial background training is an advantage
* Practical experience in preparing annual financial statements, at least 2 years
* Practical knowledge of accounting
* Proficient use of standard MS Office applications (especially Excel), knowledge of SAP (FI, CO), and IT affinity
* Excellent German and English skills
* Strong analytical skills, team spirit, and assertiveness
* A high degree of results orientation, initiative, and reliability
