We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Structural Analysis Engineer" (m/f/d).

Your tasks:
1. Analysis of structural parts, components and installations made from metal and carbon fixer materials as well as integration of systems and equipment e.g. by means of FEM (generation, validation and assessment of results) and application of traditional justification methods and tools
2. Trade off analysis for different design solutions and concepts
3. Preparation of analysis reports and statements to support airframe qualification
4. Assessment of damages and development of repairs for in-service A/C
5. Support of the Design Office and Mechanical System installation
6. Support to manufacturing and assembly lines and evaluation of concessions and deviations
7. Communication to relevant stakeholders and adjacent departments
Your profile:
8. Completed studies in the field of engineering, aerospace or a comparable qualification
9. Over 3 years of professional experience in the aerospace sector
10. Work experience as engineer in aircraft structural analysis is required
11. Good knowledge of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young) is needed
12. Knowledge of design principles and manufacturing processes and materials (metals and fixercomposite) is welcome
13. Appropriate experience in the application of specific stress and fatigue analysis tools (e.g. Nastran, Hyperworks etc.) is a must have
14. Solid skills in FE Modeling techniques including pre- and post-processing is needed
15. Very good knowledge of German and English
