In this role, you’ll be a key part of our accounting processes within a mid-sized tech company, with the opportunity to gradually take on additional responsibilities across the finance department. Ready to make an impact?
You’ll get to take ownership of:
* Reviewing and posting incoming invoices in our pre-accounting system
* Reconciling and maintaining vendor accounts and master data
* Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
* Communicating with suppliers, banks, and internal departments
* Collaborating closely with other accounting and project management team members
* Assisting in payment workflows, travel expense processes, and, if suitable, supporting general ledger or accounts receivable tasks
* Contributing to projects and process optimization within the accounting department
We’d love to meet someone with:
* A completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in business administration
* At least 3 years of professional experience in accounts payable accounting
* Solid knowledge of tax law and German GAAP (HGB)
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with ERP systems (knowledge of DATEV and invoice tools like Candis is a plus)
* A team player with strong communication skills and a high level of motivation
* A structured, quality-focused, and independent working style
* High level of reliability, flexibility, and accuracy
* Willingness to grow into general ledger and broader finance topics
* Strong German and good English skills, both written and spoken
You can look forward to:
* A modern, spacious office with a view of Lake Starnberg in Tutzing
* Subsidised lunches in our in-house restaurant
* A personal learning and development budget
* 30 vacation days per year
* Up to 20 days of remote work per year from any EU country
* Bike leasing through our partnership with JobRad
* Opportunity to work flexibly from home
* Team evenings every Thursday with refreshments covered by the company
* A company pension plan (bAV)
If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply!
