You are acting as a System Integration Test Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth.

Your responsibilities:
6. Definition, preparation, and implementation of the verification and integration plan for various helicopter systems (with a focus on avionics and the provision of all elements required for certification) – civil and military
7. Defining requirements for the necessary system test facilities and establishing the associated processes
8. Support for ground testing of prototype and production helicopters, flight testing, customer support, and assistance to the development departments in defining supplier tests for various helicopters
9. Support for System Reviews
10. Development of detailed integration and verification plans for all system functions
11. Development and implementation of all relevant test procedures
12. Preparation of all documents required for the validation, verification, qualification, and certification of the systems, while ensuring compliance with the defined and harmonized schedules
13. Evaluation, verification, and (technical) support for the work provided by the architects, system designers, and the helicopter support team—both in the development of the design and documentation, and in addressing technical issues
14. Providing status reports on testing and integration progress, presenting the necessary information in a transparent and reliable manner
15. Definition of functional requirements for test equipment (including system test facilities, support tools)
16. Defining, implementing, and improving integration methods and processes
17. Possibly coordinating rig testing (depending on your previous experience)
Your profile:
18. Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace or a completed three-year vocational training program with additional training to become a technician or comparable
19. Experience in Project Management
20. Basic knowledge of Embedded Systems in the aviation sector
21. System integration and testing experience is a plus
22. Knowledge of data buses such as ARINC or MILBUs is a plus
23. Knowledge of ARIC 653 systems is a plus
24. Fluent English and basic German skills, both written and spoken
25. French skills would be a plus
