Your tasks
5. Creation of finite element models (ANSYS / NASTRAN) for mechanical analyses based on CAD geometries and material properties
6. Performing thermomechanical analyses of engine and drive components, taking into account static and dynamic loads
7. Validation of the models based on test data or existing empirical values
8. Evaluation of the analysis results and derivation of targeted suggestions for design optimization
9. Documentation of work results and presentation to the client as part of design reviews.
Your profile
10. Successfully completed studies in the field of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification (at least Bachelor's degree)
11. Several years of professional experience in structural mechanics, ideally in the aerospace industry
12. Sound knowledge of thermomechanical analysis as well as robustness, dynamics and damage tolerance
13. Proficient use of simulation software such as Nastran and ANSYS, as well as programming skills in Python, Fortran or C++
14. Fluent German and English skills; knowledge of French is an advantage.
