Offshore Works Coordinator - Offshore Wind
Our client are one of the world's largest developers of offshore wind. As they continue to expand their presence in the German offshore wind market, this role will join the project team on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation,
Responsibilities:
* Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for offshore logistics, including crew changes and contractor demand coordination with onshore logistics and MCC.
* Support manifesting and personnel / cargo movements between OSS and JUB, ensuring all lifting, marking, and cargo requirements are met.
* Work closely with the Offshore Construction Manager and support offshore site management in daily operational tasks.
* Attend and contribute to daily meetings, toolbox talks, and project/package discussions; escalate issues when required.
* Ensure all work is performed safely, on time, and in alignment with project RAMS and technical/operational requirements.
* Review and monitor compliance with the project HSE Plan and associated documents, conducting HS&E inspections when HSE is unavailable.
* Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), including progress, downtime, breakdowns, and ensure proper sign‑off.
* Coordinate and prioritise offshore activities, ensuring adequate resources and effective communication with site management.
* Participate in safety walks, monitor Safety Observation Cards (SOCs), and report safety concerns or incidents, including gathering evidence for investigations.
* Support the Quality Manager when needed, participating in walkdowns, progress monitoring, non‑conformance identification, and witnessing activities according to the QMP and ITPs.
Profile:
* A minimum of 5-years’ experience of similar services in offshore renewable industry.
* Working knowledge of offshore construction contracts with a good understanding of the contractual implications of breakdowns, delays, weather downtime etc.
* Profound understanding of offshore operations, in particular offshore lifting operations, offshore substation installation & commissioning works, DP2 and/or jack-up vessel operations
* The ability to read and understand technical documents and observe (offshore) operations
* Knowledge about industry standards and regulations, including but limited to International Maritime Organization (IMO) & IMCA guidelines.
