As a technical lead in development projects for battery energy storage systems (BESS), you will play a crucial role in guiding technical aspects of development projects, ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements. Your responsibilities will include:Your impactDeveloping system architectures for BESS, considering technical specifications, creating hardware/software concepts, and documenting related materials.Acting as a technical expert in battery and photovoltaic (PV) systems, understanding component functions and system operations.Providing expertise and guidance to support other teams, such as Technical Service and Training, in accompanying battery systems throughout their lifecycle in the market.Identifying and coordinating work packages with internal departments and external partners, including research institutions and suppliers.Collaborating with Purchasing to monitor cost figures for components and subsystems and optimizing costs within systems.Supporting the planning, organization, and documentation of certification processes for new and existing products to ensure regulatory compliance.Who you areYou have a mindset of flexibility, initiative, and responsibility. You are familiar in working along the V-Model and have long term, detailed knowledge in hard- and software development for battery & PV systems.
