Join our renewable energy team as an Associate in charge of Battery Energy Storage Systems. As a key player, you will analyze business cases for hybridized and collocated systems, manage project partners, develop an understanding of PV and Wind businesses, identify new opportunities, and support commercial negotiations.
Our ideal candidate is someone with hands-on experience in renewable energy storage sector, particularly in project development, construction, or electricity trading. They should have strong analytical and technical skills, intercultural competence, fluency in English and German, and the ability to navigate diverse settings. The person must be proactive, flexible, and open to business travel.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analyze business cases for Battery Energy Storage Systems (focusing on hybridized, collocated systems) with deep views into the dynamics of the electricity markets across Europe.
2. Manage project partners regarding development timelines, milestones, and project budgets from early stage to ready-to-build stage.
3. Develop a strong understanding of the correlated PV and Wind businesses.
4. Identify new business and development opportunities and support commercial negotiations regarding development services with prospective partners.
5. Coordinate development and investment progress internally across departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Finance or Engineering, providing a strong foundation in analytical and technical disciplines.
* Hands-on experience in the renewable energy storage sector, particularly in project development, construction, or electricity trading.
* Strong intercultural competence and the ability to navigate diverse cultural settings.
* Fluency in both German and English, allowing effective communication in international environments.
* Proactive approach to challenges, with a willingness to adapt to fast-paced settings.
* Flexibility in adapting to different work locations and open to business travel.
