About the role:
The Process Engineer provides in-region support for definition and adherence to standard process for Automotive/ Connected Car programs. In addition, this role will support ASPICE activities for assigned programs/projects, participate and be part of the winning solution to customer quality requirements, including input to RFQs and escalations.
What You Will Do
4. Support process definition activities in BMS HARMAN’S Business/Quality Management System)
5. Support in the deployment of BMS processes through:moderating process definition workshopsreview and approve process artifacts as requiredreview and approve contents of processsupport tailoring of standard processes and rollout into projectssupport process piloting, trainings and rollout
6. Review and update the BMS processes with BMS Steering Committee (as assigned)
7. Support in-region customer requirements and escalations using defined processes and/or provide improvement track as required
8. Attend gate reviews and collect and evaluate lessons learned
9. Support efforts for RFQ related to quality with specified EU OEMs
10. Time-to-time, support special projects based on business needs, related to Engineering Process, Quality and Tools
What You Need
11. 5+ years’ experience in the automotive space in quality and system/software development lifecycle
12. Experience with ASPICE, CMMi or Six Sigma
13. Experience/understanding of Application Lifecycle Management with IBM Rational Suite or similar tool set
14. Experience/understanding of configuring, implementing and establishing solutions in tools for Test Mgmt., Requirements Mgmt., Incident Mgmt., Continuous Integration and Software Configuration Management
15. Experience with quality related methodologies (DFMEA, FBA, Risk Analysis, LL, 8D…)
16. Proactive approach to getting things done and taking responsibility and ownership
17. Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure, flexible and focused during times of change
18. Strong interpersonal & communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset
19. Team Player with structured and logical thinking
20. Excellent English and German skills (written and spoken)
