A growing gaming studio is looking for a 2D/UI Artist to create visually stunning assets and user-friendly interfaces for exciting new projects. If you're passionate about crafting engaging 2D characters and environments while ensuring seamless UI design, this role offers a chance to make a significant creative impact on upcoming games.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Create and illustrate 2D characters, environments, icons, and other in-game assets.
* Develop high-quality concept art to guide the artistic direction.
* Design intuitive and visually appealing UI elements, including menus, buttons, and HUD.
* Contribute to pixel art creation and frame-by-frame animation.
* Integrate 2D assets and UI elements into Unity, ensuring smooth functionality and visual coherence.
* Collaborate with game designers and developers to optimize the player experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a 2D artist or UI designer with a strong portfolio.
* Proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Aseprite for pixel art.
* Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles in gaming.
* Experience in integrating 2D assets into Unity and understanding the game development pipeline.
* Artistic skills with a focus on color, composition, and detail.
