Working Student (all genders) Business Intelligence At JUMiNGO, we move parcels across the globe. Fast, smart, and efficiently. But behind that is a growing data infrastructure that needs the right minds to keep it clean, scalable, and insightful. We’re looking for a working student who’s already taken their first steps in the world of data and is ready to dive deeper. You understand structure, take ownership of your tasks, and enjoy working with people who value clarity, curiosity, and good ideas. If you're the kind of person who gets why data modeling matters — or wants to learn it properly — let's talk. Your responsibilities Data Warehousing & Modeling - Work with our layered architecture (staging, core, reporting) and apply modeling logic that keeps data consistent, reliable, and actually useful. Solid SQL skills will come in handy here — and a sharp sense for structure even more so. Data Ingestion & Integration - Help connect and manage data sources using tools like Fivetran to ensure a seamless and automated flow into our warehouse — think of it as setting up the pipes before the insights can pour in. Data Preparation & Cleaning - Support the transformation and validation process to get data in shape for analysis — no dirty data under the rug here. Your Excel know-how will make you the cleanup hero. Dashboard and Report Development - Help build dashboards in Power BI that don’t just look impressive, but actually answer questions. Good visuals? Nice. Real decisions? Even better. Requirement Gathering - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and turn them into clear, structured dashboards. Sometimes, the real insight is knowing what not to show. Dashboard Migration - Take part in the careful migration from Metabase to Power BI, making sure nothing breaks, nothing’s missing, and everything makes sense — a report’s glow-up, done right. Data Analysis & Insights - Dig into data, spot patterns, and deliver bite-sized insights that spark action. You're not just pulling numbers; you're helping us find the story in the stats. Documentation - Keep track of models, dashboards, and sources so others don’t have to play data detective later. Good notes = future you saying thanks. ✅ What we’re looking for You’re enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (IT, business, engineering, etc.) Strong understanding of SQL — not just SELECT *, but real logic and structure Hands-on experience with Power BI (or a similar data viz tool) Solid skills in Microsoft Excel You're familiar with the journey from raw data to dashboards You’re curious about modeling, warehousing, and smart analytics You work precisely — and you care about getting it right Nice to have Experience with Databricks or other data platforms Familiarity with Fivetran or similar ETL/ELT tools Understanding of layered warehouse structures and modeling concepts Ability to write more advanced SQL and troubleshoot queries Interest or background in e-commerce, logistics or AI Experience working in agile environments Perks we offer Recharge Your Batteries: Take up to 15 1,5 days of vacation annually (at a 3 day work week) Stay Secure: Permanent contract with optional company pension plan Feel Valued: Monthly €25 extra cash for literally anything you want (shopping, groceries, a new TV?)
