ICT Risk Director
Location: Frankfurt
Our client is seeking an ICT Risk Director to lead the strategic management of technology and cyber risk. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting digital assets, ensuring system resilience, and aligning ICT risk practices with regulatory and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT risk management framework, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation.
* Lead the execution of ICT risk assessments, providing insights to executive leadership and the board on potential threats and vulnerabilities.
* Collaborate closely with IT, cybersecurity, and business leaders to embed a risk-aware culture throughout the organisation.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., BaFin, GDPR, ISO 27001) and industry best practices.
* Drive continuous improvement in ICT risk controls, including regular testing and validation.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for ICT risk matters with auditors, regulators, and senior management.
* Manage and mentor a team of ICT risk professionals, fostering a culture of proactive risk management and operational excellence.
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in ICT risk management, cybersecurity, or IT governance, with a focus on large, complex organizations.
* Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as BaFin, GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIS2.
* Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
* Fluent in both German and English, with exceptional communication skills.
