SCADA Requirements Engineer (m/f/d)

We’re looking for a SCADA Requirements Engineer for an international renewable energy company in Hamburg.
You’ll work at the sweet spot between SCADA, IIoT, field operations, engineering and software development — turning real-world technical needs into clear requirements, specs and tickets developers can actually work with.
This is not a pure operations role. We’re looking for someone who understands SCADA/OT environments, communicates well with different stakeholders and has the mindset to grow towards product ownership. 🚀
What You’ll Do
* Translate field, service and engineering needs into clear technical requirements
* Write specifications, tickets and acceptance criteria for development teams
* Work closely with SCADA Operations, Engineering, Service and Software Development
* Support the analysis of SCADA-related bugs, incidents and system issues
* Coordinate technical tasks, dependencies and timelines
* Help improve internal SCADA and IIoT products
What You Bring
* Experience in Requirements Engineering, Technical Business Analysis, Systems Engineering or a similar role
* Good understanding of SCADA, OT/IT, industrial automation or IIoT
* Ideally experience in wind energy, renewable energy or industrial energy systems
* Ability to connect technical teams with field/service stakeholders
* Experience with technical documentation, ticketing and specifications
* Knowledge of OPC UA, Modbus, SQL, Linux/Windows or databases is a plus
* Fluent English; German or Spanish is a plus
* Willingness to work regularly on-site in Hamburg
