JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects across government and private sector environments. The ideal candidate will assist the Project Manager in managing contracts, deliverables, and communications, ensuring projects stay on track and aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Support the Project Manager in planning and executing projects from initiation through completion. Assist in coordinating internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders. Maintain and update project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports. Help ensure compliance with applicable regulations, contract terms, and company policies. Track project performance metrics and assist in identifying corrective actions. Schedule and document project meetings and help prepare updates for leadership and clients. Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation planning. Possible travel is required. Key Skills: Project Coordination – Ability to support project planning, scheduling, and task tracking. Contract Awareness – Familiarity with government (FAR, DFARS) and private sector contract basics. Communication – Strong written and verbal communication skills for team and client interaction. Organization – Excellent time management and attention to detail. Problem Solving – Ability to assist in identifying and resolving project issues. Technology Proficiency – Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira). Documentation – Skilled in maintaining accurate and organized project records. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of experience in a project support or coordination role. Basic understanding of project management principles and contract environments. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability in speaking and understanding English and German Language. Preferred Qualifications: CAPM or other entry-level project management certification. Experience supporting U.S. government or military contracts. Familiarity with project budgeting and reporting tools.
