About the role: As the Trading Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Dyson.de website: The Ecommerce Trading Manager will manage all trading / sales activities on Dyson.de, closely working together with the DACH counterparts, the eCommerce Experience Team as well as the Digital Analytics Team. He or she will be planning and executing all daily trading activities as well as being the key contact for all local trading activities. Working with a cross functional team both within Germany and with EMEA functions, he/she will be responsible for the customer journey from stock inbound to product inhand. This is a full-time on-site role in our Cologne office. About Responsibilities: Develop, own and execute the DE trading strategy in alignment with the wider DACH Webshop strategy as well as company's goals, financial targets, and market conditions. Continuously analyze market trends and adjust trading strategies accordingly. Transforming the Dyson.de Trading Calendar into a world-class customer experience. Working with the Experience team and Commercial teams to execute the trading calendar – working around obstacles when they arise and ensuring all promotions are approved through the agreed processes. Owning the Direct Pricing Policy – ensuring that we remain compliant with all relevant policies. Working closely with the other direct channels as well as customer service teams to ensure promotions and general changes get communicated throughout the business. Drive revenue growth through effective pricing strategies and promotional campaigns in close cooperation with eCommerce experience and marketing teams Analyze sales data and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven decisions. Manage all forecasting processes for Dyson.de in line with overall business growth targets, portfolio strategy, category priorities, trading plans as well as supply availabilities Own the accessory forecast in line with finished goods forecasting. Working closely with Logistics to ensure stock is in place to support regular trading and promotions. Sharing current performance to facilitate more precise outbound logistics planning. Reporting on performance, spotting issues before they become problems, analyzing previous campaings and promotions and feeding into future plans. About you: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters / MBA is a plus). Proven experience (min. 2-4 years) in commercial and / or sales roles with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within eCommerce Strong eCommerce sales management background with demonstrated success in driving online sales growth. Proven delivery of sales targets. Sales planning: history of accurately building a sales forecast utilizing various data sets such as web analytics and historical sales data, all while taking financial targets, budget restrictions and business priorities into consideration Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to navigate between a lot of different departments and stakeholders in three different countries. Extensive project management skills with a track record of staying on top of complex projects Analytical mindset with proficiency in utilizing data to drive decision-making. Experience in using eCommerce analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, as well as commercial planning tools such as Anaplan & SAP. Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technologies, trends, and best practices. This role is based in Cologne. Proficient English skills required (German is a plus).
