Join Ecolab’s sales team as a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) in the Life Sciences market (Germany - Frankfurt Area). Ecolab Life Sciences is focused on developing and commercializing cleaning & disinfection solutions for Global manufacturers of Pharmaceutical and Personal Care, Health and Beauty products. Ecolab Life Sciences provides differentiated solutions along with a wide variety of technical and validation services.

What Will You Do:
1. Drive new customer acquisition with a hunter approach to expand our market presence in cosmetic industries
2. Manage significant deal volume and target account pipelines
3. Develop and execute strategic sales plans, targeting prioritized opportunities
4. Respond to inbound lead generation, leverage sales experience and skills to close new accounts
5. Leverage knowledge of Personal Care industry and sales experience to establish credibility with current and prospective customers, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders
6. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and competitors
7. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform management's strategic decision-making, and to reflect appropriate management of the territory and sales pipeline
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to win new business
9. Actively participate in strategic industry seminars, trade shows and conferences to establish new contacts, generate leads and stay informed about Personal Care industry developments
Your profile:
10. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Science) or related field
11. 6+ years successful technical sales or outside sales experience utilizing a consultative sales approach
12. Ideally prior experience working in industrial environments (in Personal Care)
13. Willingness to travel in Germany
14. Strong interpersonal, intercultural & relationship skills
15. Language: German and English
16. Analytical skills combined with an inquisitive nature, strong learning agility, and a proactive hands-on approach
17. Project management, organizational and planning skills
