Responsibilities:
1. Technical Expertise & Product Development
1. Recognized cross-functional expert in Specialized Nutrition, Powder Blends and Powder Solutions.
2. Solid technical knowledge of product processing, ingredients, and ingredient interactions, as well as continuous self-driven knowledge building.
3. Management and coordination of the development of innovative solutions in Food & Beverage applications from concept to production, ensuring quality, safety, productivity, effectiveness, and timelines.
4. Recipe and raw material management for quality assurance.
5. Standardization and strategic expansion of the product portfolio.
6. Independent planning, coordination, and organization of innovation and product adaptation projects, including documentation and evaluation.
2. Project & Portfolio Management
7. Extensive experience in managing project work and developing the ADM/raw materials portfolio to meet customer requirements.
8. Management of selected development and customer programs and technical teams to achieve portfolio and business goals.
9. Self-responsible coordination and prioritization of own tasks to meet high-priority requirements.
10. Build up standard processes for the production of specialized nutrition products, powder blends and powder solutions in food to guarantee smooth project flow between stakeholders and partners.
11. Establish clear ways of working and responsibilities within CD&D Food to accelerate developments, product and recipe transfers, and delivery of developed goods.
3. Leadership & Team Management
12. Functional, professional lead of cross-functional projects and teams.
13. Good leadership skills to guide teams confidently and in a motivating manner.
14. Available to advise colleagues and customers at any time with expert knowledge.
15. Transfer of knowledge and experience to other sub-areas and within the Food team.
4. Strategic Development & Business Growth
16. Strategic development of the responsible product category.
17. Development of strategies to expand customer relationships together with the Food Leadership Team.
18. Cross-business developments to strengthen collaboration and innovation across divisions.
5. Collaboration & Interfaces
19. Technical contact person for various internal departments.
20. Interface to external co-manufacturers and internal production sites (, FDL Walden).
21. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution.
Profile:
22. University degree in food or beverage technology or comparable training
23. Several years of professional experience in the food/beverage industry, ideally trained in the development of Powder Blends and Solutions
24. Experience in leading cross functional teams
25. Experience in non-disciplinary leadership and motivation of employees
26. Experience in innovation and project management
27. In-depth technical knowledge and understanding
28. High level of initiative and resilience
29. High social skills, service orientation and communication skills
30. High level of confidence and competent demeanor
31. Solution- and result-focused
32. Quick familiarization with new areas and processes
33. Able to build extensive cross-divisional and cross-functional networks within the organization
34. Profound PC knowledge
35. Very good in German and English
36. Enthusiasm for innovative solutions and trends in the food and beverage industry
37. Open to new challenges and agile working
38. Willingness to travel (30-40 %)
