Job responsibilities:
* Liaison between the pharmaceutical company and suppliers, handling technical matters
* Select and qualify suppliers and components for new developments and changes
* Support suppliers in production and quality improvements
* Participate in project management for product development and optimization
* Ensure high product quality and implement risk mitigation
Requirements:
* Engineering degrees (e.g., mechanical, Production engineering)
* Full Working proficiency in English and native level in German is a must
* Experience with plastic materials
* Commute to the Aachen office is a must
* Experience in engineering manufacturing & procurement management
* Knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing a plus
* Good presentation and communication skills
* Willingness to travel for supplier visits (once in a while only)
