We have an opportunity to join our global sales team at an exciting time, as we embark on the next phase of our growth journey. You will play a key role in developing the future as we continue to grow our high-pressure water mist brand under Siemens ownership. Within this strategic role, you will be responsible for creating technology demand and developing business. You will also work with our partner network, to grow their business’ and support them with local strategies. By leveraging Siemens' vast in-country resources and infrastructure, we are well positioned to provide unmatched technical expertise to the industry. The global sales team will be supported by a central team of experts who carryout design, hydraulic calculations and technical descriptions to ensure we support the growing needs of consulting engineers, fire engineers and partners. You will be capable of working both alone and as part of a global team, with opportunities for development for an ambitious and capable candidate. As well as the global water mist team, you will have a strong local Siemens business unit to collaborate with and align on synergies to grow opportunities. You’ll make an impact by You are responsible for growing and maintaining a robust pipeline of projects with our partner network to expand our market presence. Using our CRM system to manage the pipeline within your region and collaborate with the central team to create accurate quotations. Regularly reporting on sales figures, including revenue and order intake, for your region to track progress and identify opportunities. Identifying and attending exhibitions and seminars to increase our visibility and generate demand within the industry. Collaborating with consultants, fire engineers, and architects during the early design stages to influence technology decisions and provide essential support. Staying well-informed about global and local water mist standards for land-based water mist systems to ensure compliance and competitiveness. Traveling frequently within Germany and occasionally internationally to support business growth and engage with partners. Your defining qualities Education You hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field with many years of experience, or an equivalent qualification with extensive and diverse professional experience. Experience & Skills You have a long-term experience in sales within the fire protection industry, specifically with water mist systems, enabling you to provide expert insight and drive business growth. You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Ways of working Your excellent verbal and written communication skills allow you to engage with various stakeholders across different cultures. Strong English and Germany proficiency is essential for effective communication. You have a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines with high accuracy, ensuring your work is always top-quality. You have outstanding interpersonal skills and are an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
