In this role, you will lead the origination, structuring, and execution of complex financing transactions across the corporate and leveraged finance space, working closely with clients, senior bankers, syndicate teams, and cross-functional product specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Origination & Client Coverage
• Originate and structure new corporate and acquisition financing opportunities
• Develop financing pitches, transaction structures, and pricing proposals
• Partner closely with Syndicate & Sales, DCM, ECM, M&A, Rating Advisory, and other banking teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, legal/debt advisors, and banking partners
• Participate in senior-level client meetings and strategic discussions
Transaction Execution
• Lead negotiation of mandates, term sheets, and financing documentation
• Coordinate syndication processes alongside Syndicate & Sales teams
• Oversee preparation of marketing materials and investor Q&A processes
• Drive internal credit approval processes and transaction analysis
• Review financial models, cash flow forecasts, debt capacity analysis, and financing structures
What We’re Looking For
✔ Minimum 7 years’ experience in Acquisition Finance, Structured Finance, Corporate Finance, or Debt Advisory within a corporate/investment banking environment
✔ Strong track record in syndicated loan origination and execution
✔ Deep experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting syndicated credit facilities
✔ Excellent analytical, credit, and financial modelling skills
✔ Strong understanding of investment banking products including M&A, ECM, capital markets, and securitization
✔ Ability to manage multiple live transactions in a fast-paced environment
✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
✔ Fluent German and English required
