Job Summary:
The IT Network and Security Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's networking and security infrastructure. This involves implementing and managing the network and security systems, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and manage the organization's network and security infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
* Collaborate with system administrators and support teams to monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure optimal network availability.
* Implement remote access solutions and manage user authentication and authorization.
* Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and implement defined security rules to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and guidelines for IT equipment and system operations.
* Investigate and resolve incidents, optimize system performance, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in network administration.
Requirements:
* A Master's degree or equivalent in IT technologies, preferably with specialization in networking technologies.
* At least 5-10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing network and security infrastructures.
* Strong knowledge of networking standards and protocols, including CISCO network devices.
* Experience with network management tools, remote access solutions, and network security devices.
* Proficiency in cloud technologies and standard office applications.
* Fluency in English and French, with Luxembourgish and/or German being an asset.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
