Design Manager (Data Centres / MCF)

Your Role
As a Design Manager, you will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across the full project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, coordinated, and practical design delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing design scope, budgets, and contract documentation
* Planning and monitoring design programmes and team workload
* Coordinating design across multiple disciplines and external stakeholders
* Reviewing and challenging design solutions to ensure optimal outcomes
* Communicating design intent clearly with clients and project teams
You will also contribute to improving internal processes, sharing technical knowledge, and supporting consistent project delivery standards.

The Mission Critical Facilities team provides integrated design and consultancy services for data centre clients, including colocation providers, telecom operators, and technology-driven businesses. The team combines expertise across multiple disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, and architectural engineering.
What We’re Looking For
* Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
* Experience managing multidisciplinary design and construction projects
* Background in data centres or similar complex projects preferred
* Familiarity with BIM and digital design environments (e.g., BIM360, CDE)
* Good understanding of industry standards and client requirements
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage)
