As a Senior Engineer DevOps (f/m/d) within the software & tools team, you will be an agent of progressive change, modernizing the software development practices, while building an Infineon-wide DevOps platform.
Developing and designing state of the art infrastructure platform to streamline customer releases and enable reproducible builds on a scalable level across hundreds of software projects
Collaborating with software teams, central departments, service providers, design services and IT
Organizing knowledge sharing sessions and training on software infrastructure
Representing the software & tools team i n cross-divisional working groups
You love having autonomy and enjoy the responsibility that comes along with it. A degree in computer science, computer engineering or multiple years of relevant experience in a similar role as a software or infrastructure engineer
~5+ years of practical experience or desire to learn software infrastructure topics
~ Practical experience with common infrastructure tech stack such as: Gitlab CI, C/C++, Python, Docker, git, bash, CMake, Kubernetes
~ Experience with configuration management, modern build systems/tools covering all software development phases including coding, testing, documentation and deployment
~ Exposure to common software process methodologies including agile methods
~ Understanding of software infrastructure applications for embedded systems and System-on-Chip preferred
~ Previous experience with start-ups and mid-size companies preferred
~ Fluent English language skills, German is a plus
