We co-founded and led Viafintech (Barzahlen) to 100+ FTE, one of the most successful German fintechs, active in 17 markets across the EU and USA, and sold it in 2021 for a € three-digit million amount to NYSE-listed Paysafe Group.

Now we’re off to our next venture. This time we’re building a global champion for prepaid products: gift cards (Apple, Amazon, Google), airtime and eCash all in one simple API. Think of finperks as a stripe/adyen for all prepaid products and payments.

We started in summer 2025 and in just a few months we have already onboarded 700+ brands, and our first client goes live by the end of the year.

Many people completely underestimate the market size: about €600bn sold per year today, going to €1.8tn by 2028.

Instead of 5 players in the chain (brand → issuing tech provider → global distributor → local distributor → client), we connect brands directly with clients via the finperks platform. Today 95% of prepaid is still sold in the Global North; we believe that for the gig economy to monetize the Global South, prepaid will be key - from Netflix and Google to Apple and Uber.

We’re a team of 8 in Berlin-Charlottenburg. A mix of our best people from the last journey and brilliant new joiners. High ownership. Low ego. Kind humans. We ship fast, help each other, and celebrate wins.

Before anything else, context matters.

This is not our first company. We’ve already built and scaled a fintech successfully.

What we’re building now is bigger and global by design.

This time, the goal is clear:

To build the leading global platform for gift cards and digital prepaid products and leave a footprint that matters.

How I think about work: I don’t believe in pre-emptive learning. What you’ve learned so far doesn’t matter much to me because most of it fades anyway. What stays is what you’ve actually done. I believe learning happens downstream from doing. Here, you won’t say:

* “I learned how partnerships work”
* “I learned how negotiations are done”

Instead, you’ll say: “I helped bring global brands onto a new platform and built real partnerships from zero.” And that will say everything about you.

Your Mission

You’ll help us build the largest global platform for gift cards & digital prepaid products.

Your focus will be on global brand partnerships working directly with the world’s leading issuers and brands.

What this role is about

You’ll work with companies like: Apple, Google, Amazon, Netflix, Uber, Zalando, Flixbus, PlayStation, Nintendo and other global brands.

Your responsibility is to:

* Win these brands for our platform

* Build long-term, trusted partnerships

* Position finperks as a reliable global partner

Your Responsibilities

* Build and manage partnerships with global gift card brands & suppliers

* Lead commercial and strategic negotiations

* Onboard new brands together with Tech & Operations

* Grow and deepen existing partnerships

* Work closely with me, the founder, and the core team

We are office-first. Not because we don’t trust people but because speed, learning, and context grow exponentially when you work side by side.

You will:

* Sit in the office with me

* Learn on the job, in real conversations with real brands

* Work closely with the rest of the founders and leadership team

Between us, decisions are made fast including priorities and budgets. You’re empowered to act, not stuck in approval loops.

We’re looking for someone who:

Languages

* English is required

* German is not required!

* Additional European languages are a strong plus: Spanish, French, Italian, Portugesw

Requirements

* 6–12 months of relevant work experience in startups, consulting, investment, or fintech
* Proven ability to manage projects independently and take full ownership from planning to execution
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and modern tools (e.g., Notion, Pipedrive, Clay, AI tools)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on mentality and willingness to learn fast
* Passion for entrepreneurship, venture building, and technology
